Bloomin' Tuesday

Spring has arrived in Colorado. Sort of. It's been a very long winter and very cool spring. Yes, we have flowers blooming, the grass is green, and there are finally leaves on most of the trees, but we have a prediction of snow on Wednesday. In spite of all that nonsense, our yard is showing color and a whole lot of promise! Here are some collages of what's happening in our garden this week...

Clockwise, starting top left: Bleeding Heart, Creeping Phlox, English Daisy

Clockwise: Primrose, Primrose, Gaillardia

Iceland Poppies

Clockwise: Strawberry plants, Candytuft, Rockfoil Saxifraga

Clockwise: Apple Tree Blossoms

Beautiful collages of blooms this week Suzanne. My bleeding heart is long since spent & gone. It's nice to enjoy a second flush in your garden. :)

So Pretty! You are even further along in your part of the state than we are in the Southern Colorado foothills. Our poppies or those little daisy things haven't bloomed yet. Take care, Sally

I enjoyed seeing your blooms. We grow a lot of the same things. Some of mine are farther along than yours, and some of yours are farther along than mine. I love your poppies!

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I'm pretty sure you aren't in Colorado Springs with me - if you are you have your own micro-climate! We barely have tulips and I still have trees that haven't leafed out yet! Your yard is lovely.
