Snips and snails and puppy dog tails...

Have you ever noticed that the genders of newborns have a tendency to run in cycles? It seems to me that often there is covey of little girl babies born followed by a string of baby boys. Well, we are smack dab in the middle of a train of little boys around here. Since the beginning of the year through the month of August, I've know at least 10 women that have given birth or are expecting to give birth, and every last one of them is expecting a little boy! The last mommy I know that delivered a baby boy was one of my adorable nieces. She gave birth about a week ago, so today I whipped up a Dwipe for her and a few extra to put in my Etsy. I also made some little girl Dwipes just in case someone, somewhere, is having a girl. :o) Love the sweet little boy and little girl fabrics for these...

I've noticed that trend too...except when it came time for me to have a baby. A couple of mine were born smack dab in the middle of a "boy spell", but I always end up with a girl! It just means that they're not really happy with the friend situation for now, but once they are old enough to date they will LOVE it!

We have 3 teachers at Central that are expecting babies. I know for sure that one of them is a girl. Baby girls are so very sweet! Take care ~Natalie

I'm not around anybody pregnant at the moment. The last birth I heard about was two weeks ago from a blog friend and it was her new grandbaby girl. Your likely right...I do find it ironic that years ago I had two boys, my sister three boys and my brothers both had girls!! What was that all about? I should have gotten a girl out of the deal but two was enough. :-)
