Rubbermaid Bento Boxes & Toppers Review & Give Away...

Several weeks ago I received an email from a representative working for Rubbermaid. She explained that Rubbermaid has just released a new line of decorative, fabric storage containers called "Bento." These storage boxes are unique because they feature "Flex Dividers" that allow you to easily create division inside the containers to organize the items while you store them. The dividers pop in and out based on what you need to store at the time...

In addition these storage boxes come with "Bento Toppers." The Topper can be used in two different ways. You can use the topper as a tray to contain items that are frequently used that you want to contain, or they can be used as a lid for the Bento Box by flipping over the Topper.

{Above: Bento Topper used as a tray.}

{Above: Bento Topper used as a lid on a Bento Box.}

I was intrigued. The idea of being able to create divisions within a box appealed to me. I also loved the idea of a storage container that was nice enough to be used as a decorative accessory in a room, so I agreed to review the boxes.

An assortment of various sizes of Bento Boxes and Toppers were shipped my way free of charge. There was no requirement made by Rubbermaid for me to write a review or to write a positive review.

Nevertheless, that is exactly what I'd like to do. A picture is worth a thousand words and I'm sure you've already drawn the conclusion that these boxes are both stylish and practical. The smaller ones are perfect for office, kitchen, craft or sewing supplies and the larger ones would work well for magazines, winter sweaters, throws or sewing/craft projects. I love the fact that I can divide the boxes into compartments. It is the perfect way to "divide and conquer" the clutter in my home.

Another practical aspect about the Bento Boxes are the Toppers. They are easy to remove from the box, and they can be tucked into the top of the box to create a ledge all around the top of the box or flipped to create a more conventional lid on the box.

For prices and more product information go to Joann's.

Now for the Give Away...

I have been invited to hold a give away on my blog for the same set of Bento Boxes and Toppers that I received. The prize will be similar to the "Paprika" set in the photo above. The value of the set is $215.93!

To enter the Bento Box and Toppers Give Away follow these simple instructions...
  • Leave a comment below.
  • No anonymous comments please, I need an email address or accessiblity to a public blog in order to contact the winner.
  • The give away is only open to U.S. and Canadian residents.
  • You may enter once through Monday, September 17th.
  • Tuesday morning, September 18th, the winner will be announced.
  • Rubbermaid will ship the prize directly to the winner's address.

This is, in my opinion, the best give away I've ever hosted on my blog.
I'm so happy to be able to offer my readers the chance of winning this fabulous prize.
Good luck to all!
