What inspired me this week?

I am inspired by creative people. I am convinced that everyone is creative in one way or another, but one group that often inspires me are Fabric Designers. Daily I go to fabric sites on the net to look at the new ware available. I am always inspired by the creativity of the people who design these luscious fabrics. Their beautiful and unique designs speak to my heart!

What surprised me this week?

This week I had a couple of fabric stores take note of my blog and offer some nice discounts because I had casually "advertised" for them. I appreciate unexpected kindnesses. They are always a welcome surprise.

What moved me this week?

Young Mothers. A number of my close friends and family members are expecting or have recently delivered babies. Being pregnant and being a new mother is not for the faint of heart. It takes stamina and fortitude. I know -- I've been there. I am moved by young mothers who sacrifice to bring these little ones into the world and then continue to put the welfare of their children ahead of themselves by forfeiting or putting off a few of their own dreams and desires. For all the young mothers in my life... know that your dedication moves me and inspires me.
