Gwen will be shipped to my granddaughter whose favorite color is "girl blue." I hope she likes it. She's five so a little young for a tooth pillow, but she's sure to need it sometime in the next year or two!
Yesterday I used this pillow to show you how to applique onto fabric. Go here to read that post.
By posting that tutorial, I gave most of the directions on how to make these tooth pillows. There are step-by-step instructions on appliqueing in that post. (This she-monster applique pattern can be bought here.)
Now it's time to make my

Fab pillow - thanks so much for the pattern.
Love this pillow! My son lost his first tooth last week and after seeing your pillow on Pinterest I had to make one for him! I made a smaller version that I had to hand sew but I thank you for the fabulous idea & template!
Made your chick sickles for my cousin's twins and now I'm doing the tooth fairy. Love your patterns and tutorials. Thanks!
I'm sharing your link today on http://SewingTutorialsLibrary.com
What a cute project, thank you for the resource!!
I just love this. I'm going to make one for my son.
I'll be downloading it a bit later, but I want to make a comment now (have to wait till I can sit down to the desktop and print). I had see this before, and changed computers and lost the bookmark. I have been looking all day, and I'm so excited to have found it (I must have seen a link or been wearing blinders at the time or I would have made that pillow before now, or at least marked it). I'm going to be a little bit different with this template. I'm going to put it on a tee shirt! I have triplet boys that are starting preschool in 2 weeks, 2 identical and one fraternal. I need to have some things for them to wear that will help the teachers learn to tell them apart for the first few weeks (after that the boys get to pick their own clothes, I can only do so much). I seriously can't tell you how excited I am for this, or how excited my boys are gonna be for their shirts. I hope I can get it all done in 2 weeks! I also have lots of friends with kids starting to lose teeth. I wish I had the time (I probably have the fabric, although not as adorably coordinated as yours are) to make them all one of these! They are ADORABLE!! (Can you tell I'm excited, that's when I can't shut up!) So thank you, you're awesome!
Thanks for the pattern! I made it and posted it here:
